Ikenaga Yasunari

The NEW japanese beauty.

I would like to introduce a painter probably you have never heard about. He is a young Japanese painter with a same age of mine. He was born on October 3rd, 1965, only one day earlier than me. This is the first time for us to produce an artist.
His subject is women. The women he paints are fascination but stoic.Viewers are attracted by her beauty and sex appeal while they can't help but hold buck.
He creates his art by dropping Japanese paints into the canvas that he calls "linen cloth", with a Menso brush. The painting expresses a reality, but at the same time, it's showing " a past" in the fade-looking colors. Why does he depict such paintings?
I know he is a very mysterious man. But, why does he paint Nihonga on the canvas? I have asked him before, but he didn't know neither. He is a very friendly guy but very quiet, thought.
Nevertheless, I love his paintings, I 've really FALLEN IN LOVE with his paintings. He is a little bit weird, but his paintings are wonderful. So I concluded that the guy who paints such nice paintings actually must be a nice guy. That's why we sell his paintings. I hope you like them. If you are interested in his art works, please let us know.
