This is an Erotica booklet satirizing thirty six Waka poets shown in the "Sanjurokuninsen" produced by Fujiwara No Kinto. Each name of the poet is changed a part with a different Chinese character replaced in order to have a erotic meaning, and their poems are also deformed into a palody. The paintings here are made based on the palodies.
