In 1863, Tokugawa Iemochi went to Osaka by the military ship Jundomaru. This artwork shows his way back to Tokyo. Here is near Shinagawa where Iemochi got off the ship to ride on the boat to get to the land. In this era, people were supposed to take overland transportation, so Iemochi's trial was against the principal but having a meaning equivalent to be noted in the history. The emblem on the body of ship is Genji's one.
