Ohara Koson (Shoson)
1877-1945
Painter and print designer. Also referred to as Shoson. He learned the style of Japanese painting from Suzuki Kason, and was good at especially flower and bird paintings. He also produced woodcut prints for export, so his name was also known in Europe at that time.
